Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

It covers two groups of people:

• Our customers — businesses that use LaunchAnswer, and their team members who use our app.
• Their callers and customers — people who call, message or book with a business that uses LaunchAnswer.

For the second group, the business you contacted decides what information is collected and how it is used. We process that information on the business's behalf, following its instructions and this policy.

2. Information we collect

From our customers

• Name, business name, email, phone number and address.
• Business details you give us so Grace can answer: hours, prices, services, menus, policies.
• Billing information. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.
• How you use the app, such as settings and device information, to keep the service working.

From callers and customers of businesses that use LaunchAnswer

• Phone number, name and anything shared during a call, chat or message.
• Recordings and transcripts of calls, and the text of chats and messages.
• Appointment, order and request details.
• Basic technical data, like the time and length of a call.

3. How we use information

• To answer calls and messages, book appointments, take orders and send summaries to the business.
• To provide, maintain and improve LaunchAnswer, including the quality of Grace's answers.
• To bill our customers and provide support.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use callers' information to market our own products to them.

4. Call recording and AI

Calls answered by Grace are processed by artificial intelligence and may be recorded and transcribed so the business can see what was said. Grace tells callers that they are speaking with a virtual assistant and that the call may be recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, you can ask to leave a message or hang up and contact the business another way.

5. Text messages (SMS)

If you choose to receive text messages from a business through LaunchAnswer — for example appointment reminders or confirmations — message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• The business you contacted, which receives call summaries, transcripts, messages and bookings.
• Service providers that help us operate, such as telephone carriers, cloud hosting, AI and speech providers, email delivery and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Apps you connect, such as a calendar, Google Business Profile or social media accounts, when a business asks us to connect them.
• Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of people and our service.
• Business transfers — if our company is sold or merged, under the same protections.

7. How long we keep information

We keep customer account information while the account is open. Call recordings, transcripts and messages are kept while the business uses LaunchAnswer, unless the business deletes them sooner. When an account closes, we delete or anonymize its data within 90 days, except where we must keep it for legal, tax or security reasons.

8. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and trusted hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as the law requires.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information. If you contacted a business that uses LaunchAnswer, please contact that business first — we will help it respond. You can also contact us directly at hello@launchanswer.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor them.

10. Children

LaunchAnswer is a service for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify our customers by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
